- Will my outfit look exactly like the pictures?
Yes. Every Couture Kahani piece is stitched individually using the same design, premium fabrics and finishing shown on our website. Before dispatch, we also share photos or videos of your actual outfit for approval.
- How do I choose the right size?
Our detailed size guide is based on body measurements, not generic sizing. If you're unsure, simply message us. We'll recommend the best size or create your outfit using your personal measurements.
- Can you stitch according to my measurements?
Absolutely! We specialize in made-for-you clothing. You can provide your measurements during ordering, and we'll tailor your outfit accordingly.
- What fabric will I receive?
Every product page clearly states the fabric used. We carefully select premium-quality fabrics chosen for comfort, durability and beautiful drape....not the low-cost materials commonly used in mass production.
Will the fabric be transparent?
We choose fabrics that offer good coverage. If any design requires lighter fabrics, we provide appropriate lining.
- Do you keep large quantities in stock?
No!!
Every Couture Kahani piece is produced in limited numbers or made specifically for its customer.
That means your outfit isn't one of hundreds leaving a factory every day.
- Why does Couture Kahani cost more than high street brands?
Because you're paying for craftsmanship not mass production.
Each outfit is individually stitched, carefully finished and quality checked using premium fabrics. We produce fewer pieces so we can give every order the attention it deserves.
- Why isn't next-day delivery available?
Because great clothing takes time.
Your outfit is prepared especially for you rather than picked from warehouse shelves. We'd rather deliver something exceptional than rush something ordinary.
- Do you deliver to the UK?
Yes!
We ship throughout the UK using reliable international courier services with tracking.
- Can I track my order?
Yes.
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number so you can follow every step of its journey.
- Can I return my order?
As every outfit is made especially for you, we don't accept returns for change of mind. However, if there's a manufacturing issue, we'll work with you to make it right.
- Can I customise sleeves, length or colours?
Yes.
Many of our designs can be personalised. If you have a vision in mind, simply contact us before ordering.
- Can you recreate a design I found online?
Yes.
Send us your inspiration images, and we'll guide you through fabrics, colours, embroidery and practical adjustments to create a version that's uniquely yours.
- Do I see my outfit before dispatch?
Yes.
Before we ship, we'll send photos or videos of your actual outfit so you know exactly what's on its way.
- Who makes my outfit?
Each Couture Kahani piece is carefully stitched by skilled artisans in small batches or made to order. It is never mass produced on an industrial production line.
- I've never ordered from Couture Kahani before. Why should I trust you?

- Can I request extra length?
Yes. We understand that everyone's height and preferences are different. If you'd like extra length for your dress, sleeves, or trousers, simply let us know before your outfit is stitched.
- Can I request petite sizing?
Of course. Our outfits aren't designed with a one-size-fits-all approach. If you're petite, we'll adjust the proportions to ensure your outfit flatters your frame beautifully.
- Can I request matching outfits?
Yes! We love creating coordinated looks for sisters, mothers and daughters, bridesmaids, couples, or family events. If you have a specific idea in mind, simply get in touch and we'll help bring it to life.
- Can you help if I'm buying for a wedding?
Absolutely. Whether you're the bride, a bridesmaid, a wedding guest, or shopping for a special family occasion, we'll guide you through fabrics, colours, embellishments, and styling to create an outfit that's perfect for the event.
- Can you recommend my size?
Yes. If you're unsure which size to order, simply send us your body measurements, height, and preferred fit. We'll recommend the size that will suit you best and can even tailor your outfit to your measurements if needed.
- Can I order if I'm pregnant?
Of course. We can customise your outfit to ensure it's both beautiful and comfortable throughout your pregnancy. Just let us know your stage of pregnancy and any preferences you'd like us to consider.
- Can I order for someone as a gift?
Yes. Our outfits make thoughtful gifts for birthdays, weddings, Eid, anniversaries, and other special occasions. If you're sending your order directly to the recipient, we'll ensure it's beautifully packaged and won't include pricing inside the parcel.
- Can you make plus sizes?
Yes. We believe beautiful clothing should be available for every body. We happily create outfits in a wide range of sizes and can tailor them to your measurements for the best possible fit.
- Do you line your dresses?
Many of our designs include lining where needed for comfort, coverage, and a beautiful finish. If a particular design requires additional lining or you'd prefer extra coverage, simply let us know before production begins.
- How should I care for my outfit?
To help your outfit stay beautiful for years, we recommend gentle dry cleaning or hand washing where appropriate. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Every order includes a care instruction card with fabric-specific guidance, so you can confidently look after your piece and enjoy it for many seasons.
- Will the colours look exactly the same?
We do our best to photograph every outfit as accurately as possible. However, slight colour variations may occur due to differences in screen settings, lighting, and photography. Rest assured, we carefully select fabrics to closely match the colours shown.
- What happens after I place my order?
Once your order is confirmed, we'll begin preparing your outfit. If measurements or customisation details are needed, we'll contact you first.
Throughout production, we'll keep you informed, and before dispatch, we'll share photos or videos of your finished outfit for your approval. Once approved, your order will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
